The U.S. News & World Report has named all of the top-ranked American universities, from top to bottom, in the year of 2018, ranking them by student enrollment, financial aid and quality of life.
The annual list includes four-year schools with enrollment of at least 25,000 and some of the largest programs at universities in New York, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia.
The list also includes universities with a total of more than 1,100,000 students.
The U.N. agency says that the list is based on a formula based on students’ need for education and affordability.
It says the average student at a four- or five-year university in the U.P. is about $52,000 a year.
But the average U.K. student is about £36,000.
