COLORADO — The students who fled the coastal city of Norwalk in 2017 will finally have their first chance to return to their home this fall.
The city’s Board of Supervisors approved a resolution Tuesday to relocate the Norwalk High School football team to the nearby city of Lake Oswego.
It’s been years since the students from Norwalk returned to the city, but now the students are looking forward to moving back home.
A group of students at Norwalk have petitioned the board to make the move, but it’s not the first time the students have petitioning the board.
The students filed a petition in January 2016, but the board rejected their request in November 2016.
The students have also filed another petition with the Board of Education and the mayor’s office.
